**Merger**

The new building is coming on really well and should be open in summer 2022.
We've been consulting with patient groups and staff, and we're delighted to say that our new name will be:
"Berrycroft Community Health Centre".
It fits really well with our vision and the merging of the two surgeries.
The building has been carefully designed for our patients, and it allows us to work more closely with community groups.
For more information please visit the "News" tab or click here

We are trying to maintain a service as close to normal as possible during these difficult times. If you have concerns regarding ANY health condition, please feel to book a call with one of our clinicians. This is even more important for those with exisiting long-term medical conditions and children.

About Us

We are committed to providing timely care that addresses any immediate need and where possible provide continuity of care by providing appointments with your usual GP or the clinician who has been dealing with a particular problem. We are also committed to:

  • Promoting preventative medical care and seek to engage with you to help manage long-term conditions in an effective way
  • Helping you access our surgery by adopting a variety of ways to book appointments and see a variety of clinicians

Our approach - The Patient Services Team are trained to ask you questions to about your condition in order to identify the most appropriate clinician and appointment for you – which might not be with a doctor. We are committed to trying to provide a continuity of care with the clinician that has seen you for a particular problem as evidence shows this produced better outcomes.  However, where your need is urgent or cannot wait for an appointment with that clinician we will identify the most appropriate person to meet that need.

Our Team - We are proud that we have a skilled team of clinicians including 10 GPs, a physician’s associate, a clinical pharmacist, an emergency practitioner, 7 Nurses (including a community nurse), a Midwife and 3 healthcare assistants, all trained to provide a varied and focused service to meet a variety of medical needs. This team are supported by a Administrative and Patient Services Team.
